She’s no George Clooney, but Britney Spears is doing her part for the Haitian relief effort — she’s donating a dress she wore at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards for auction.

Britney was in court today for a conservatorship hearing, but has since left the courthouse because of a commitment with her kids.

Brit’s lawyer, Geraldine Wyle, asked the commissioner for authority to dispose of certain property — items that are no longer useful to her or her estate. Wyle was not specific, though we’re thinking Adnan is one of the items.

We’re told the commissioner also wants to get a first hand look-see of how Britney was doing. No reviews so far.

The “Jersey Shore“ cast  have rejected MTV’s salary offer for Season 2.

Sources connected with the negotiation say MTV offered Snooki, Pauly D, “The Situation” and the others each a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 an episode.

We’re told the cast rejected the offer and made it clear — they were negotiating “Friends” style … everyone would get the same amount and it had to be a lot higher than MTV’s offer.

Gary Coleman was arrested this afternoon in Utah.

Law enforcement in Santaquin, UT says he was arrested on one count of domestic assault — a misdemeanor. He was picked up because of a warrant stemming from a prior incident.

Cops would not release the identity of the victim.

He is currently being held on $1,725 bail.

At just 23 years old, The Hills star Heidi Montag decided to go under the knife for a second time and have a staggering 10 plastic-surgery procedures in one day.

Don’t expect Miley Cyrus to be walking down the aisle anytime soon.

“Miley’s not engaged,”  after the Hannah Montana star, 17, was caught stepping out in L.A. on Thursday wearing a sparkly ring on her left hand.

Rumors immediately began to spread that she and her 19-year-old Australian boyfriend and Last Song costar, Liam Hemsworth, 19, may be getting married.
