TMZ has learned Jessica Simpson has a new boyfriend and he is not a current NFL player — he’s a former one.

Jessica is dating ex San Francisco 49ers tight end Eric Johnson. He last played for the New Orleans Saints back in 2008. Johnson split from his wife earlier this year, filing for divorce in February.

Simpson — whose show, “The Price of Beauty,” returns to VH1 in 2011 — began dating Johnson in May.

Will.i.am’s ride got boom boom pow’d in the Hollywood Hills Monday night — according to law enforcement sources, bad guys broke into his Bentley and jacked over $10,000 worth of stuff.

the Black Eyed Peas star made the shocking discovery himself and called the police to file a report. According to sources, the loot included jewelry and several of the singer’s personal items.

We’re told cops are hot on the trail of the bad guys — and some of the stolen property has already been recovered.

The World Cup just might be the TV event of the summer. Janet Jackson made her first live performance in two years Friday night at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, and by the looks of it, the 44-year-old pop icon worked her butt off.
A glistening Jackson wore a futuristic looking silver number at the event, which she headlined, and was accompanied by a bevy of backup dancers. In concertgoer videos, Jackson’s voice sounds strong and the crowd certainly enjoyed the rare performance, her first since her brother Michael’s death.
